Independent Study Programs

All course offering are faculty-directed independent study programs using the open book method of instruction and examination. As a student, you are a class of one: you set your own pace, and you choose the time and location of your study.

The United States Department of Education endorses home study, as do hundreds of other leading colleges and universities and all branches of the Armed Forces. In fact, more people were enrolled in home study courses the past few years than all freshmen who entered all the traditional resident colleges and universities in the United States.
